Q. Where can I get a copy of your Official Rules of Softball?
A. ASA Rule Books are only distributed at the local level by the Illinois ASA Commissioner or their staff in your area. Please check our contact list for that person:

Q. How do I register my team with the ASA?
A. All ASA registrations are done at the local level. Please contact your local Illinois ASA Commissioner in order to register your team with the ASA.

Website FAQs

Q. When I enter my login information it seems like the page is just refreshing. What is happening?
A. Your browser needs to have cookies enabled in order to be able to login to the website. On your browser, go to your Internet Options within the Tools menu and check your settings on the Privacy tab. In Internet Explorer, be sure they are set to Medium. In AOL browsers, you may have to adjust this setting lower.

Q. I can't remember my username or password, can I retreive this?
Send an email to to request a new password.

Q. How do I edit my address, email, telephone number etc. listed on the website?
A. Log in first . If you have acess to your team record on the website, you should be able to click on Change/Update Your User Profile – found on the bottom of any page once logged in. At this page you can change your personal information and you team information.

Q. How do I obtain access to my team record on this website?
A. If you added the team to the website you automatically have access to them. If you did not add the team, you should have been given access when you created your account.

Q. We have multiple coaches for our team, how do we give them all access to the team record?
A. This is not possible. You all can be registered on the website and register your team for tournaments; however, only one of you can be linked to the actual team record.

Q. How do I edit my team information?
A. Log in first . If you have acess to your team record on the website, you should be able to click on Change/Update Your User Profile – found on the bottom of any page once logged in. At this page you can change your personal information and you team information.

Q. I'm having problems opening the PDF files on your site. Any suggestions?
A. We suggest you reinstall and/or upgrade your Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Q. What if I can't find a tournament listed on your web site? Who do I call?
A. All tournaments can be found on our website by clicking here.

Q. I'm a tournament director and wish to add a tournament. How do I do this?
A. Be sure you are logged in and then click on Youth Program – Tournament Directors – Add/Modify Tournaments

Q. I'm a tournament director and wish to edit a tournament I've already entered. How do I do this?
A. If you are logged in, and you created the tournament, there should be an icon next to the title of your tournament—click on it to edit the tournament.

Q. How do I enter a tournament?
A. Find your tournament by browsing here and then click on the session you wish to register for. If you are logged in, all fields except your Team Name will be entered for you. Please note you will still need to verify tournament entries with the listed tournament director.
