UIC REMARKS by Paul Tomazzoli:

We of the Illinois Amateur Softball Association are looking forward to another great year of softball in the upcoming 2015 season.  A key goal of our association is to continue striving to again make our umpire program one of the best in the nation.

It is certainly noteworthy that our umpires have worked hard to represent Illinois ASA at the highest level.  In particular, congratulations are extended to the umpires who were assigned to national championships. However, our overall success is due to everyone working together to achieve a smooth-working program for the enjoyment of the teams, players and fans.   Thanks to everyone who has contributed so much time and effort.  We are blessed to have so many hard-working individuals who are dedicated to the Illinois ASA softball program and its success!

We hope to see everyone at one of our many training clinics beginning in February and running through mid-April. Dates for the clinics are posted in the “General Information” tab of this site.

On behalf of the Illinois ASA umpire staff and myself, I thank all of you for your hard work and look forward to working with you in 2015.  Have a happy and safe softball season!

Yours in softball,

Paul Tomazzoli
